Dr. Desislava Markova

Dr. Desislava Markova is a Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist.

She has a more than 15 years of experience in Fetal Medicine. She successfully completed a three-year fellowship in Fetal Medicine at Kings’ College Hospital, London, under the direction of Professor Kypros Nicolaides and was awarded Fetal Medicine Foundation Diploma. 

She also obtained a Master’s degree in Prenatal Genetics and Fetal Medicine from University College London and completed the Advanced Training Skills Module in Fetal Medicine at Kings’ College Hospital, London. 

She has an extensive experience in ultrasound scanning and counselling singleton and multiple pregnancies during first, second and third trimester of pregnancy and intrauterine procedures amniocentesis and chorionic villous sampling.
